FPCT Volunteer Open House

Fells Point Corner Theatre will be opening its doors on Monday, October 7th at 7:30pm!

Fells Point Corner Theatre is known in Baltimore for producing a wide range of excellent theatre, from brand new plays that are fresh off Broadway, to classics that are seldom produced in the area.  We even provide a venue for new playwrights and original stage productions.  This depth and diversity provides directors, actors, playwrights and designers of all levels some fantastic opportunities to get involved in unique and exciting theatre, right here in Baltimore!  But it doesn't stop there.  Did you know that FPCT is run entirely by the time, talent and efforts of volunteers - right up to its working board of directors?

This is where you come in, and the reason for this invite.  In order to keep producing the great theatre that FPCT is known for, and to continue our growth into the future, we need to get more people involved.  So we are opening our doors to introduce you to our theatre and highlight all of our volunteer opportunities.  It doesn't matter your skill or how much time you have to give.  If you've ever had a desire to get involved in theatre, or just to get involved in a great community organization, then we are asking you to stop by and introduce yourself!

We are looking for help on our working committees, such as marketing, fundraising, building enhancement, and event organization.  Or if you have less time, there are also opportunities to work on individual productions, including costume design, set painting and props, and stage managing.  We also welcome individuals to become Members or join our Board.  FPCT is a creative, exciting and rewarding place to share your talents.  And as a bonus, active Members even get to see every show for free!

We will be providing hour d'oeuvres and wine and tours of the theatre.  All you need to bring is yourself, maybe a friend (or two, or three), and the enthusiasm to get involved.  Doors open at 7:30pm on Monday, October 7, 2013. We look forward to seeing you!
